OVER 50 ARTISTS OF INTERNATIONAL STANDING TO CREATE SELLING ART EXHIBITION
IN AID OF THE CURE PARKINSON'S TRUST AT BONHAMS, LONDON, 13 -15 MARCH 2017

Peter Doig Lion and Lighthouse, 2017

Cure3 is a new art project devised by Artwise in partnership with Bonhams and the David Ross Foundation to raise awareness and funds for the charity, The Cure Parkinson's Trust (CPT) – a charity which has been a lifeline for people living with Parkinson's , funding vital research into ways to slow, stop and reverse Parkinson's, a degenerative disease which currently affects more than 10 million people worldwide.

Each artist has been invited to create an art work using a bespoke Perspex box 20cm3 - hence the title Cure3. The box serves as a space to frame, support or contain each work, allowing for multiple approaches and interpretations, although each artist has been provided with three key words for inspiration of particular relevance to The Cure Parkinson's Trust (CPT): slow, stop, reverse.

Curated by Artwise, the dynamic curatorial team behind the original and highly successful RCA Secret postcard project, these beautiful, covetable and highly collectable art works with prices ranging from £1,000 to over £10,000, will be presented at a unique selling exhibition at Bonhams, London from 13th – 15th March 2017 in aid of The Cure Parkinson's Trust. We are now delighted to announce the shortlist of artists who have already confirmed their participation, prior to the final and complete list which will be published in December.

Ron Arad, Peter Blake, Rob and Nick Carter, Jake and Dinos Chapman, Mat Collishaw, Shezad Dawood, Bouke de Vries, Peter Doig, Andy Goldsworthy, Subodh Gupta, Sean Henry, Damien Hirst, Henry Hudson, Paul Huxley, Alison Jackson, Ben Johnson, Allen Jones, Idris Khan, Rachel Kneebone, Liliane Lijn, Sarah Lucas, Harland Miller, Polly Morgan, Annie Morris, Julian Opie, Grayson Perry, Marc Quinn, Boo Saville, Conrad Shawcross, Rebecca Warren, Hugo Wilson, Rose Wylie, Jonathan Yeo.

The Cure Parkinson's Trust believes that a cure for Parkinson's is both realistic and tangible and they are constantly searching for new routes to slow, stop or reverse Parkinson's - developing new treatments that will affect people living with Parkinson's within a five year period. Cure3 offers the opportunity to actively support this crucial work by seeing and collecting remarkable new works by leading contemporary artists.

2017 will mark the 200th anniversary of the discovery of Parkinson's, an important milestone which we can mark by backing the work of The Cure Parkinson's Trust to finally find a cure and supporting what we anticipate will be a new and significant annual event, Cure3.
